I am grateful to Lindalouise Martin, one of our BA Performance  graduates for the following information. Please support Lindalouise and her colleagues.   It’s fantastic to see the seeds of creativity growing through the cracks of a dissolving economy.

Cleansed Ltd and Boyangel productions, are two Creative companies formed by UWS graduates and current students  which  have combined to showcase new talent in Ayrshire and the surrounding area. Currently they  are providing two nights of intimate theatre@ The Libertine each month. This month’s  “Monthly Monologues”  on the 7th and 8th of March showcase one professional actor and two student actors from the  UWS. The aim of the evening is to bring some quaility live theatre to ayrshire as sadly many arts providers in the area have gone dark.

Each month they will  also showcase new talent by local writers. This is in the form of a 20 min monologue  and this month and they  are proud to announce they have B.P.M by UWS fourth year student,  Andrew Campbell. This piece was showcased at On the Verge by RSAMD to great acclaim.
