The first ever Knowledge Transfer Partnership at the University Of The West Of Scotland’s School of Creative & Cultural Industries was officially signed off this morning. Full details of the history of the project can be found here. http://tiny.cc/nmuq5
The bespoke training video which we created for Steve Briggs, Operations Manager at Law At Work http://www.lawatwork.co.uk/ is now in post production at our Ayr studios where it is being graded and a fine edit carried out by diretor Chris Young. The training video, which covers all aspects of discrimination at work will be officially launched early next year when Law At Work rebrand their website and begin the marketing phase of the project.
This Short KTP has proved so successful that we currently have at least five others in development with clients as diverse as a Recruitment Agency, an Organic Ice Cream maker, and company involved in the Scottish Football Associaton’s Get Fit Campaign.
Each of these projects will involve under graduate or Post Graduate students from the UWS’s School Of Creative Industries going out and creating material for a specific client by sharing and developing knowledge gained at University . In this way, Industry and University develop a relationship which can enhance the learning experience provided by the former, and the balance sheet of the latter. I’ll keep you posted for the launch date in the New Year. If you think that your firm might benefit from just such a project, please get in touch with our Knowledge Transfer Staff in the IRO office at the University Of The West Of Scotland.
