‘On Camera Audition Skills Class’ Sunday 30th Jan 6 week class £60.
The purpose of this class is to prepare actors for the audition environment by giving a realistic idea of what is required in an audition. WCA ‘KICKSTART 2011’, a networking night at CCA on Saturday 29th Jan 7.00-9.30 p.m.  We’re all passionate about film but are you interested in producing your own film? Or acting in it? Directing it? How do you source ideas, script, cast, crew, equipment and locations? Then what?! WCA hosts a night of networking with independent producers & directors and meets the groups housed under the CCA umbrella in the pursuit of filmmaking! Discuss the production process of two short films to be screened on the night! Plus, the winner of the WCA short film script competition will be announced! £5/£3 and networking at CCA bar afterwards. CREW CALL: Editor Req’d

‘Many of us have watched ‘Lager & Lipstick’  being workshopped for some months now and got a lotta laffs along the way. I’m now delighted to put out this call for the team – Linda.
Lager And Lipstick, a rom/com webisode for the internet, is now in production
and seeks a voluntary freelance film editor to edit HD footage in ‘Pro Res 422’ format. 
The series consists of six webisodes, shot in a music store over 5 days, with footage ready to edit for the beginning of March.  A clapper board will be used and the sound recorded separately which will need synced.  Everyone involved is passionate about their field and involved because they want to produce a high quality, light hearted series to be proud of.  Incentives include:  An experienced Crew, guaranteed exposure through the web cast medium, PLUS a great CV booster and networking opportunity.  If interested please contact Producer Andrew Greer at  with contact details and any experience you have.
