Grade 5 £26,779 – £31,948 per annum

The School of Creative and Cultural Industries is an ambitious, forward-looking school with exciting and innovative plans for further development.

As a result of rapid expansion, we have a vacancy at our new £81m Ayr Campus for a Studio and Technical Operations Co-ordinator, with a particular focus on Broadcasting studio equipment. This experienced individual will take responsibility for media support services both internally to the School and at external events.

Educated to degree level you will have professional experience in working in a TV studio environment and of managing, operating and maintaining complex technical equipment. Experience of working at the interface of technology and its users is a pre-requisite for this post.

You will possess up to date skills and knowledge in the areas of software and hardware systems associated with TV production, along with the practical ability to develop, design and prepare our TV Studio for the use of lecturers, students and external clients.

This is a customer focussed environment in which you will adopt a responsive and flexible approach to studio service users, whilst ensuring that sophisticated studio equipment is maintained in a structured manner.
